No, QRalo cannot prevent a hacker from creating their own QR code. BUT QRalo allows clients to verify the identity of the QR code issuer. If a hacker creates a QR code, their organization name will be displayed, not that of the legitimate restaurant.
No. QRalo is designed for high-risk cases (payments, menus, tickets, etc.). QR codes for simple public links (website, social media) don't need QRalo protection.
QRalo will display 'UNVERIFIED - Unknown source' and recommend proceeding with caution. The client can still see the destination URL before clicking.
Yes! QRalo QR codes are standard QR codes. They can be scanned with any QR app. BUT only the QRalo app can verify the cryptographic signature. Other apps will just see the 'qralo://...' URL.

Ed25519 is faster, shorter (64 byte signatures vs 256 bytes for RSA-2048), and just as secure. It's perfect for QR codes where space is limited.
Yes. They are encrypted with AES-256-GCM (military standard) with a unique salt and Scrypt key derivation. Even with database access, impossible to decrypt without ENCRYPTION_KEY.
Yes! From the dashboard, you can revoke any QR code. It will be immediately marked as 'REVOKED' during subsequent scans.
Less than 20ms on average. Ed25519 verification is extremely fast.
Yes, but anonymously. IP addresses are hashed (SHA-256) before storage to comply with GDPR. You can see scan counts and dates, but not identify users.
No. If a single bit of the QR code is modified, the cryptographic signature becomes invalid and the QR code will be rejected.
Contact support immediately. We can revoke all your QR codes and generate a new key pair. Old QR codes become invalid.
Ed25519 is vulnerable to quantum computers (like all current cryptography algorithms). If quantum computers become reality, we will migrate to post-quantum algorithms (like Dilithium).
QRalo does NOT store your link content. We only store metadata (organization, date, scan count). The actual content is on YOUR web server. QRalo is GDPR-compliant (anonymized IPs).
